ATC's new short film, SPLIT TICKET, won the Director's Award Grand Prize at the 20th Rhode Island International Film Festival.  The awards ceremony was held in the Metcalf Auditorium at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum on August 13, 2016.  SPLIT TICKET had a sold out screening at the 500-seat Jane Pickens Theatre in Newport, RI, with another packed screening at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence the following night.  ATC appeared on two screenwriting panels at RIIFF's annual ScriptBiz program -- the Art of Pitching, and Writing for Character and Performance.  Thanks to everyone at RIIFF for their warm and generous hospitality.  Below (l to r), RIIFF Executive Director George T. SPLIT TICKET was the winner of Best Fantasy Film at the Dragon Con Film Festival in Atlanta.  Dragon Con is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention in the world, with 65,000+ attendees.  Clips from the top 3 finalists in each category were shown in the Hyatt Regency Ballroom before the winner was announced.  Congratulations to our talented cast and crew!
Thanks to everyone who came out for the screening of six ATC films to benefit the historic Rochester Opera House.  We had a fantastic crowd and were humbled and honored by the standing ovation at the end of the show.  We premiered the trailer for ATC's new film, Split Ticket, and look forward to hitting the festival circuit with it in 2016!


ATC's feature script, Oil and Water, which he wrote with Morgan Dudley, won the 2015 Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition for Drama.  There were approximately 1,300 submissions in the competition.  Last year, ATC won the Action category and was runner up in Drama at Nashville with Vulture's Row.  Oil and Water, based on a true story, is in the tradition of Erin Brockovich, Argo and American Hustle.

ATC's feature script Vulture's Row is the Winner of the Best Action Script category in the prestigious 18th Annual Fade In Magazine Awards, one of the top screenwriting competitions in the world.  Vulture's Row is based on the novel "Betrayed" by Brendan DuBois.

ATC's short film Rocketship is now being featured inflight on Virgin Airlines worldwide!

ATC's short films Moonlight Bait and Ammo (written by ATC and co-directed with Marc Dole), Slam Man (written and directed by ATC) and Bighorn (written and directed by ATC) were screened at Boston Comic Con in August, 2014, at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston, MA.  More than 40,000 attended the three-day event.  Boston Comic Con announced that it was the first time they have invited a filmmaker to screen three films.

ATC's feature script Vulture's Row was the Winner in the Thriller category and Runner Up in the Drama category in the 2014 Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition, the only script in the competition to be chosen as a finalist in two categories.  There were 1,511 submissions.  The script was the Grand Prize Winner of the Rhode Island International Film Festival Screenplay Competition, and a Top 20 Finalist out of 2,500+ submissions in the Slamdance Screenplay Competition.
ATC's short film Rocketship, a family drama in which an unlikely bond is forged between a lonely boy and an elderly man claiming to be a former astronaut, was an Official Selection of the 17th Annual Dances With Films festival in Los Angeles, one of the film industry's premier showcases for emerging talent.  Sponsored by powerhouse agencies CAA and ICM, Dances With Films was held at the legendary Grauman's Chinese Theatre (a/k/a TCL Chinese Theatres).
